Pleated balloon valances offer the softness of a balloon valance with a bit more structure. This style is great for showcasing a print.
Suitable fabrics: Light to medium weight fabrics such as cottons, linens and silks.
- This treatment is stationary and should not be confused with a balloon shade.
- Silk fabrics should always be interlined.
- Sheer fabrics are not suitable for pleated balloon valances.
- Add at least 4" to face width and 2" to returns of any under-treatment, e.g. sheers, for proper clearance.
