Our products are warrantied to be free from material defects in workmanship, materials, and construction from date of delivery for the number of years noted below when used for normal, residential indoor use. Only Outdoor items are warrantied for use outdoors. Our products are not warrantied against normal wear and tear; commercial use; accidents, abuse, or neglect; or from damage resulting from improper use, care, or storage.

Our warranty does not cover products used in commercial, nonresidential settings. Because many of our products are handcrafted and made with natural materials, variations in size, shape, and color can be expected. Top Treatments

  • Calico custom-made window treatments carry a (1) one year warranty from date of purchase to the original purchaser under normal residential use and care. It is not transferable.

  • Calico will remedy any measurement or construction error as of the original measurement and installation. Fabric flaws, mistakes in construction or product made beyond tolerance will be covered by alteration, repair, or remake.

  • Tolerance is ½” for all custom products.

  • Cords are guaranteed for (1) one year from date of purchase.

  • Motor warranty is limited to (5) five years from date of purchase, and specific to individual manufacturer’s warranty.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the window treatments.
  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made to original product.

  • Warping of wood mounted boards or stretching of fabric due to humidity, water damage or heat sources.

  • Pet damage.

  • Fabric dye lot variations - For dye lot match requests, a swatch must be approved prior to starting production.

  • Damages associated with applying cleaning products, stain repellants and/or dry cleaning.

  • Variations from floor samples or literature.

  • Incorrect installation by a party other than Calico.

  • Shipping charges.

HARDWARE

  • All hardware is guaranteed as per the individual manufacturer warranty. Please contact your store for more information.

  • Motor warranty is limited to (5) five years from date of purchase, and specific to individual manufacturer’s warranty.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Product.
  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

HUNTER DOUGLAS

  • (1) One year warranty from date of purchase from manufacturing defects when installed through Hunter Douglas Installation Services (HDIS).

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made to original product.

  • Pet damage.

  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

INSTALLATION

  • Calico offers a (1) one year warranty on all installation services from date of the original installation.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the installation service.
  • Job site not ready requiring additional visit.

  • Appointment missed by buyer or representative.

  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made.

  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture).

  • Shipping, removal, or reinstallation charges.

  • Installation by a party other than Calico.

BEDDING & PILLOWS

  • Calico offers a (1) one year warranty on workmanship on custom bedding and pillows from date of delivery. Due to the inherent qualities of fabric and the custom construction processes, we allow some tolerance:
  1. Allow 1” tolerance for quilted products.
  2. Allow 3” tolerance for comforters.

  • (2) Two year warranty against manufacturing defects on pillow and duvet fillers. Law tag must remain as originally attached.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product.
  • Normal wear and tear which includes feather and down flattening.

  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made to original product.• Pet damage.

  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

  • Calico offers a (1) one year warranty on the workmanship from the date of delivery.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the reupholstery service.
  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made to original product.

  • Pet damage.

  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

  • Fabric dye lot variations - For dye lot match requests, a swatch must be approved prior to starting production.

  • Damages associated with applying cleaning products, stain repellants and/or dry cleaning.

  • Wrinkling, fading, and pilling.

  • Variations from floor samples or literature.

  • Pickup and delivery charges.

CUSTOM FURNITURE

  • Calico offers the following limited warranty from manufacturing defects to the original purchaser under normal residential care and use. The furniture must be upholstered in its original fabric.

  • (15) Fifteen years for frame and springs in workmanship, material, and construction.

  • (1) One year for sleeper and recliner mechanisms, and pump motor in workmanship, material, and construction.

  • (3) Three years for standard sleeper mattress/ mechanism against manufacturing defects.

  • (10) Ten years for all seat cushions in workmanship, material, and construction.

  • CASE GOODS are non-returnable, unless defective or damaged in shipping. Credit for a defective/damaged product must be authorized and will be issued once the defective/damaged product is received back at the vendor distribution center and has been inspected. It must be received in its original packaging.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product.
  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made to original product.

  • Pet damage.

  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

  • Fabric dye lot variations - For dye lot match requests, a swatch must be approved prior to starting production.

  • Damages associated with applying cleaning products, stain repellants and/or dry cleaning.

  • Comfort Wrinkles - Depending on the fabric, wrinkling is an expected characteristic of upholstered furniture.

  • Wood finish - Tonal variances are expected as a natural characteristic of the hand applied finish.

  • Variations from floor samples or literature.

  • Loss of cushion shape due to normal wear and aging.

  • Job site not ready or appointment missed by buyer/representative requiring an additional visit. A storage fee of $100 per piece per month will be applied.

FABRIC & TRIM

  • All fabrics and trim are final sale once they have been measured and cut. Calico reserves the right to inspect any fabric submitted for claim. If the inspection does show inconsistencies in the fabric or trim, Calico will replace that fabric or trim only.

  • PERFORMANCE FABRICS & TRIM are warranted as per the individual manufacturer warranty. Please contact your store for more information.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product.
  • Normal wear and tear, including pilling.

  • Pet damage.

  • Fabric dye lot variations - For dye lot match requests, a swatch must be approved prior to starting production.

  • Slubs and imperfections due to natural characteristics.

  • Damages associated with applying cleaning products, stain repellants and/or dry cleaning.

  • Labor and installation.

RUGS & WALLPAPER

  • Rugs and wallpaper are non-returnable, unless defective or damaged in shipping. Credit for a defective/damaged product must be authorized and will be issued once the defective/damaged product is received back at the vendor distribution center and has been inspected. It must be received in its original packaging.

  • It is only applicable to indoor use and environments maintained at normal temperature and humidity.

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product.
  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Abuse, accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made to original product.

  • Pet damage.

  • Fading or discoloration caused by exposure to the elements (sun, wind, water/moisture, heat).

  • Fabric dye lot variations - For dye lot match requests, a swatch must be approved prior to starting production.

  • Damages associated with applying cleaning products, stain repellants and/or dry cleaning.

  • Pickup and delivery charges.

  • Wallpaper installation is not available through Calico and not covered in this warranty.

WARRANTY: No agent, representative, dealer, or authorized employee of Calico has the authority to increase or alter the obligations under the warranty. This warranty supersedes any previous versions and is subject to change without prior notice.
