With options as wide as your imagination, kick pleated valances offer your choice of pleat placement just at corners, in the center and corners, or all across the valance. Pleats can be evenly spaced or aligned with window dimensions. Contrast inserts and scalloped hems are also available.
Suitable fabrics: Light to medium weight fabrics such as cottons, linens and silks.
Cord or welt recommended at top edge of inside or ceiling-mounted valances to even out uneven ceilings and avoid light leaks.
Silk fabrics should always be interlined.
Add at least 4" to face width and 2" to returns of any under-treatment, e.g. sheers, for proper clearance.
Sheer fabrics are not suitable for kick pleated valances.
