Design Shop Manager

We often find prior retail or management experience along with a background in sales, home furnishings or interior design to be an ideal combination. Sometimes, however, previous strong leadership experience is gained in other ways. Our people are bright, self-motivated, personable and professional. Assistant Store Manager

Our Assistant Managers partner with the design shop manager to assist with leading and motivating our store teams. They are responsible for enhancing customer service and participating in a wide variety of team operations. The candidates we seek will have a strong background in retail/sales management, home furnishings or fashion and textiles; a demonstrated love of helping others; excellent interpersonal and communications skills; and a desire to learn, grow and achieve.

Designers

Working both at the store and in the home of customers, our Designers use their inspiring design expertise to guide customers in the selection of fabrics, trims, custom designed window treatments, bedding, and upholstered furniture to create the rooms of their dreams. We seek individuals with strong fabric knowledge, custom labor experience, proven sales ability and excellent time management and organizational skills. Our Designers have an innate understanding of color, design and custom home furnishings. After completing our extensive training, our Designers have all the resources they need to build a meaningful and rewarding career.

Project Coordinator

Our Project Coordinators work with our designers and third party workrooms to coordinate customers' specialty orders. We seek detail-oriented individuals to be responsible for the custom labor program and administrative desk. Qualified individuals will have design and fabric knowledge, basic office skills, light bookkeeping knowledge and a pleasant phone manner.

Store Merchandiser

We are looking for individuals to help create an impressive customer experience by performing duties relating to the store’s visual presentation. Responsibilities will include executing the company’s merchandise directives and creating and maintaining visually compelling store displays and rack layouts. This position will have an awareness of all merchandise, its location within the store and its lifestyle or color association. Additionally, the Merchandiser will help manage the store’s inventory ensuring that fabric samples are in good condition and properly placed, reference materials are updated and maintained, price changes and hang tags are appropriately updated, and general housekeeping relating to overall store appearance is performed daily. Our Store Merchandisers are also called upon occasionally to assist our team on the selling floor. This is a great entry level position to kick start your career in home furnishings design.
