SEAT CUSHION OPTION AND WOOD FINISHES

Most furniture is available in five furniture seat cushion choices, so you can select the perfect comfort for you:

Calico - Seat Cushion Options

Springdown Seat Cushions

Are the best available and are standard on most of our pieces. They come with a 10 year warranty and will provide many years of luxurious comfort. Springdown seat cushions contain individually wrapped coil springs encased in high-resiliency foam. Then the cushion is wrapped with a thick layer of ultra-soft blendown, a “blanket” of down, polyester fiber and feathers encased in fabric. All warranties cover defects in materials, construction and workmanship.

Hypoallergenic Seat Cushions

Are offered at no extra charge for people allergic to down. Similar to springdown seat cushions, they also come with a 10 year warranty and are made of 100% synthetic materials. All warranties cover defects in materials, construction and workmanship.

Extra-firm Seat Cushions

Extra-firm Seat Cushions are for those who prefer a little extra support and like to sit “on” the cushion, not sink into it. These seat cushions also carry a 10 year warranty. All warranties cover defects in materials, construction and workmanship.

Please note: the back cushion style and filling is determined by the design of the upholstered furniture and is not optional.

Come into any of our design shops and test the seat cushion options for yourself. We carry full-size seat cushions in every design shop so that you can line them up in a sofa frame and move from one to another until, like Goldilocks, you find one that’s “just right.”

Calico - Wood Finish Options

 

Furniture with exposed wood frames come in a wide range of beautiful hand-applied finishes. Each finish may involve as many as 10 separate applications, adding layers of texture and shading to the natural wood grain. From mahogany to ebony, we’ll create the perfect custom upholstered furniture for your home.
